The konya2023 is 3rd building renewal project the TRAVEL FRONT plans and operates. The project will run for 15 years from 2008 through 2023.
Many different specialists in many diversified fields will congregate in the 17 rooms of this 45 year - old building. Based on the concept of a " future multi - purpose building ", a diverse range of people transcending industries, age, nationality, and ethnicity will gather here for a variety of purpose, reason, and time.
This is a project where a process of trial and error is repeated through various elements meeting and dispersing for the purpose of distilling new values and culture.
TRAVELERS PROJECT
The TRAVELERS PROJECT is setting Fukuoka as a base, positioning people who enjoy daily challenges like in travel as "TRAVELERS", and aiming to create public spaces for such traveler to gather. In addition to architectural and graphic designs, main activities include building revitalization, various planning and administration operations, residence programs, media projects, event operations, food and drink operations, rental space operations.
To date it has conducted planning and operations for Reisenso (April 2006 - March 2009), the 345project (April 2006 - March 2009), and internet radio station called TRAVEL RADIO(currntly off air).
Its current activities center on planning and administration of Konya 2023 (April 2008 - March 2023) and also collaboration with a wide range of industries and fields other than art and design. such as welfare and IT.
